Commercial and Industrial Retrofit Program Spotlight
The Save on Energy Retrofit program has provided Ontario businesses the opportunity to lower electricity costs, improve productivity, and support sustainability goals for over a decade by providing financial incentives for the installation of energy-efficiency upgrades. The program offers two streams to meet customer needs, a prescriptive stream whereby incentives are offered for prescribed energy efficiency upgrades and a custom stream for businesses to choose more customized solutions that are tailored to their facility.
The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) offers and administers energy-efficiency programs in Ontario under the Save on Energy brand. CLEAResult is one of the service providers helping the IESO to manage and expand the Save on Energy Retrofit program. Their efforts have helped make the Save on Energy Retrofit program one of the largest and most impactful energy efficiency programs in Ontario by reducing the province’s electricity consumption and peak electricity demand.
